Your AI agent answers on a dedicated phone number. Each number belongs to one organization, and the number a caller dials is how the system knows which business — and which settings — the call belongs to.
One number, one organization
A phone number is bound to your organization and your agent. The dialed number identifies your business; the caller cannot select a different organization, and neither can the agent. This is what keeps one business's calls and customer data separate from another's.
Get a number connected
Provision or attach a number from the Voice settings. Once bound, inbound calls reach your agent and the greeting reflects your business name, hours, and services.
- 1Open Voice settings and complete agent setup.
- 2Provision or connect a phone number.
- 3Place a test call and confirm the greeting names your business.
Good to know
If the settings screen shows no bound number for a working agent, re-open Voice settings to refresh — the lookup reads the live number binding.
Numbers and locations
One number serves your whole organization. The agent uses the caller's verified service address, not the dialed number, to choose which location and service area applies. You do not need a separate number per location.
