Dispatch

A focused workspace for unassigned work, technician coordination, and operational exceptions.

Dispatch and appointments

Appointments own the business lifecycle. Dispatch status records operational progress: assigned, en route, on site, in progress, or delayed. Complete and cancel appointments from the appointment flow; Dispatch does not bypass required completion work.

Daily controls

Choose the operational date and a visible location, then use All, Unassigned, Starting soon, Late, No check-in, or At risk to focus the board. Your location permissions determine what is included.

Assigning technicians

Open an appointment and choose a qualified technician. NBOUND checks organization membership, service capability, location access, service qualification, approved time off, and appointment conflicts again on the server before assigning.

Reassigning and unassigning

Reassignment keeps the appointment scheduled and records the change. Unassigning also keeps it scheduled, returns it to Unassigned, preserves assignment history, and may trigger an operational Task when the start time is close.

Exceptions and Tasks

Starting soon is an awareness state. Late and No check-in need more attention. At risk always has a concrete reason. Exception-generated operational Tasks are separate from client tasks and resolve when the underlying exception resolves.

Technician visibility

Technicians see their own assigned work. Dispatchers and managers stay location-scoped unless granted broader operational visibility. Dispatch does not provide GPS, live location, route optimization, or route tracking.
