The Role

You will be responsible for the systems that power NBOUND’s operational engine—job tracking, dispatch logic, data pipelines, and system reliability. This role is critical to ensuring that field operations run smoothly without downtime or data inconsistency.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain APIs supporting job lifecycle management
• Build systems for scheduling logic, technician routing, and job state transitions
• Manage databases storing operational and customer data
• Ensure system reliability, consistency, and fault tolerance
• Optimize backend performance under high usage conditions
• Implement security and data protection best practices

What We're Looking For

• Strong backend experience (Node, Python, or Go)
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Understanding of distributed systems and concurrency
• Ability to design systems for real-world operational reliability
